Section titled “Compatibility”Breakdance QuickNav supports Breakdance 2.x and 3.x in Breakdance mode. The verified packages are 2.8.3 and 3.0.0 RC1. Oxygen mode is excluded; this does not certify every historical 2.x release or a final 3.x release.
Version 2.1.0 requires WordPress 6.7 and PHP 8.1 or later. The bundled Library 1.1.0 requires PHP 8.0; Updater 2.2.1 requires PHP 8.1. The updater uses its returned release-specific class and can coexist with older updater implementations. The highest compatible Library copy is elected when several hosts are installed.
QuickNav can activate without Breakdance and keeps settings available while navigation pauses. Its scoped activation adapter delegates other plugins to the unchanged Library guard. The bundled catalog remains the approved component catalog; the host does not rewrite release data or discovery cards.
Existing settings, personal preferences, constants, resource links and addon integrations remain. See the addon guide for verified navigation and test limits. The approved artwork is retained. Previously supplied standalone snippets are separate artifacts and must not run beside the plugin.
